On a warm summer day beneath the brightness of the sun,
I watch the waves crash on the beachfront, see the sea claim what it's won.
And in an hour of contemplation the delusions overcome my mangled heart,
beaten by the beating of each strike of this relentless razor blade called love.
The sun lets out a yawn and speaks with apathetic tone
about the lives he has seen wasted in an attempt to be alone,
but solitude has brought me comfort in the darkness of each never-ending day,
and no one other than my soul has ever understood the wonder of my ways.
Oh! As I am enveloped by this overwhelming heat and watched by your god's reproachful eyes,
the aroma of you pierces through my skin and invades every part of me that is alive.
And so we parted ways, Mr.Solitude and me, when the disease of you came crashing down my door,
for in that moment my intoxicated heart knew that when you granted me your absence, it would be weak forevermore.

Naybo,

Wow. Wow. Wow a thousand times over. I have never read about love like the way you have written about it above.

This brought a smile to my face!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful perspective!
