Warmly Haunted

In your Tomorrow dwelling

live phantom recollections

They’ll someday whisper endlessly,

these spectral reflections

Have no fear, they mean no harm;

you are their only host

It’s just Today, and all before ~

your memories, your ghost

As time moves on, you’ll understand

this haunting is a gift

That takes you warmly by the heart

so you’ll not go adrift.

<p>The haunting yet comforting feel of the poem ties in nicely with your title, which acts as a juxtaposition. When most people think of the word "haunted" they usually think of frightening ghosts and witches, yet with your poem you write about being haunted as a good thing if you are haunted by your memories. Our past experiences definitely shape who we are and teach us lessons, like you write in the last lines of the poem. Realy innovative concept! Have you ever written a concrete poem?
