Warning Rain

Tears of the Earth,

As the reign of nature,

Comes to an,

End.

An impact,

That we must mend.

Thunderous anger,

Tries to warn us of doom,

As less and less flowers,

Come old enough to bloom.

Lightning,

Natures hand,

Comes from above,

To Pound on the Earth,

Angry,

At its most proud creation.

Humans,

Can you not see,

What our beautiful,

Infantisimal world,

Has come to be,

To cleanse our souls,

We must save the soil,

And stop burning All that Dirty Oil.

I wrote this poem as I remembered the storms I have seem having lived in Florida all my life. I was terrified of storms as a child. After a tornado that hit my home when I was 5 I would become anxious and scared everytime thunder roared. That tornado took teh tree in my front yard and threw it at our front door and i will always remember opening the door to find branches just outside of it. I want to protect the beauty of nature and although storms are normal the pollution is causing storms that are freakishly strong and we must stop destorying nature the way we are now.
