"Warrior"
Everywhere I turn someone's shouting at me, fussing at me, trying to bring me down
I am always the problem
My choices, my actions, someone's talking about and judging my mistakes, judging me
There seems to be no solution
No matter what I do someone's mad, someone's disappointed as if the right actions are wrong.
Where's the light?
Where's the light that supposed to help me through this dark and cold world.
The light that's supposed to be my savior or is that my faith, my hope
Oh wait I forgot. I lost that along time ago when I thought below would never end.
Now I'm living. Living with all this bottled emotion that will one day rise to the surface and overflow, explode
When you see the devil show don't be surprised.
Don't be surprised when I leave and never look back.
Know that you caused this. You caused all this pain that I had to go through alone.
No one there to understand. Understand my situations, my pain, my world.
So I had to put my big girl boots on and stand up. Stand up and stop letting you all drag me down.
I walked for minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years. I called upon God. Without him I wouldn't be where I am now.
When I saw the light, I couldn't help but praise my lord. Praise him for all he's done and more. THANK YOU LORD.
Thank you too. You caused me to become a better and stronger person. A person who doesn't worry about what people think or say.
Also, believe it or not, I forgive you.
I'm a strong, beautiful, and proud woman. I'm not being vain, this is just how I see myself.
I Am A Warrior.
