Warrior
Rescue me from my sins
our only son
Born to a gang banging seventeen year old
Mother addicted to a glass
Filled with Jesus’ blood and the Devil’s semen
Telling me a condom ruins the feeling
And I believe you
Sliding my finger down the wooden cross
My father gave me
Before leaving like a bad cold
I close my eyes
And just think back
To the days where my only worry was a pink Easter dress or blue
And yes I am one of them
The drummer who sticks it to the preacher’s wife
The preacher’s daughter
Five abortions
Done with the same knife used to cut “Jesus Flesh”
The every communion service bread
The elementary school boys that use their good shoes to hide bags of weed
Which grows from trees
So that’s cool right?
The little princess’ that stuff their bra with inscriptions from passages never read
Toddlers playing “mommies and daddies” with daddies love child
The house being foreclosed
With the father clock and Mother Mary bed sheets
The prayer before diner
Even if it’s just beans and rice, uncooked
But me, I ain’t eating
Fill my mouth with your tounge
My dreams with your accomplishments
My thoughts with your words
A prisoner, caught between love and life
Death and hatred
Sitting here on this pedestal
Soul burning
Flames eating me alive
Rescue me from my sins
Throw me into the ocean
