Warrior

We were Warriors

Taking the earth in stride

As it quivered with each step

Only then did it crack open beneath us

 For us to become impaled

On the very swords we used

To conquer our lives

Now this close to ending it

As the darkness wraps around me

Engulfing me

My future

Seems nonexistent

As a warrior

I fight

Trying to regain control

Regain my kingdom

Regain me

A light shines, dissipating the darkness

An Angel saved me

Just as my kingdom was burning

She brought a storm

One that revived the world

And reminded us

That we are all

Warriors
