Warrior Kid

Leaping right into

The daily struggle

On a regular basis,

And I'm sure done with

And sick of all of this;

A never-ending fight

Between good and evil,

A lifelong war between

Lies and truth,

A battle between

Life and death;

A win-or-lose situation

For every moment

Of every day,

And each one is

Trying to conquer the other

For my attention;

I will overcome

This love or hate fight,

And I'll know that

All the pain,

Suffering,

Trials,

And tears

Were all worth the time

And effort it took to

Get through the day

At last.

writers_gonna_write

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
