Warriors

All you wanted was to be wanted.

You try your hardest to be seen.

You'd show your true self.

But all you were was taunted.

You'd try and try and try again.

Hoping, pleading, fighting, crying.

Always searching for a friend.

No one pays attention.

Does anyone truly care?

All you get is negativity.

Most of all, just blank stares.

No matter what they say,

Please, be strong for me.

With me you'll never be alone.

No more "just you"

It will forever be "we"

No longer the odd one out.

We will be friends forever.

Standing strong and proud.

We will fight this battle,

Together.
