Was It Really Wonderland?

Down the rabbit hole you say?

No, no, no darling you are mistaken.

Down a corridor and through a doorway,

That is where you were taken.

A white rabbit running late?

Why, that must be our doctor.

The man is quite great,

He should manage his schedule better.

A cat with a grin who can disappear,

My dear no wonder you've come to us.

Everything you say sounds so queer.

We are trying to help, do not fuss.

Potions and cake that change your shape?

The food we have here my not be the best.

You are in my office because you tried to escape.

Do not think you are here as a guest.

Now you call me this queen of hearts?

If only my life were so prosperous.

Back to your room before the sun departs.

I will be speaking with you again, dear Alice.
