This was me

The notes are broken The tempo is down I feel like screaming But I won't make a sound The rain is falling down and down No one sees I am about to drown Sorrow, sorrow is all I feel With all of these scars Will I ever heal? No, no, I won't Because under the smiling girl you see Is depths of dispair unmeasurable to me The pain, the fears, and all the other things Are expressed by the song she sings She sings it all the time Though no one catches the tune Because no one wants to see Someone facing their doom But this girl is not off crying in a corner No what you'd expect, not a loner This is the girl with a smile on her face The friend to all that will make your heart race So please don't think you know what's going on inside Because everyone has a secret to hide The notes are broken The tempo is down We feel like screaming But we will never make a sound
