WAS SEATED OUTSIDE

WAS SEATED OUTSIDE

Was seated outside;

By courtyard door,

And praying

Was I ever so sensitively,

Which is my usual way,

Of thanking the Lord

For what he has given me;

On a daily basis done,

Then I paused,

And he showed me,

To look on up

And explore,

The wonderous things of nature be,

Of clouds,

That dance and prance,

Or float by gently,

In colours of many hues,

Some dressed white,

Others in grey,

Reds at dawn and sunset spawned,

Or blacks at storm,

So, my Lord

I thank you!

For my lesson of today;

And to be ever grateful for,

Of all the things you have given me.
