That was supposed to be us

Dating?

No

That's not a thing in my life

But friends, yeah

I have friends

And I thought you were one, too

I deleted your voicemail off my phone this week

because that was a voice from someone I used to know

I didn't need to be reminded that person doesn't exist anymore

I was on Facebook again

and I looked up your profile to see if you had posted again

and sure enough you did

I shouldn't be surprised that you find time for your new friends now

You haven't had time for me for months

I've been sick

but you wouldn't know that because you don't talk to me anymore

I could be dying

but you wouldn't know

because you just care about all the new people in your life

What happened to being there for forever?

Huh?
