Wasted Time

What is time?

Time is humanity's most valuable resource

It pains me to see us take such a thing for granted

Something of which we only have a limited supply

Something irrepleacable, something we have no means of getting back

Yet we use it as if our reserve of it was unbounded

I find myself pondering the same question rather frequently

Why? Why must we spend our time in such a fruitless way?

You'd think we would've learned to spend it wisely after so long

That we'd spend it in the most productive way possible

In a way that would not only benefit us but the people around us as well

So far, we have undoubtedly not figured out time's true value

It troubles me to see us waste it like this

There have been many occasions in which we have talked about change

About changing for the better

However, to change for the better we must start spending our time better
