Wasteland

My heart flutters
My stomach twist
I began to feel
This broken body

A wasteland in human form
Where all dreams die
And hope destroyed
Broken boys go to feel
And girls to die

They try to fix it
But there's no hope
So like the Earth I'm forgotten
Crushed and destroyed

I thought you'd never leave
Everyone changes though
For better or worse
No matter the consequences

My heart stops
My stomach quits
I began to go numb
In this broken body
