Wasting

During the holidays we eat tons of food,

Putting us all in that holiday mood.

We eat foods such as turkey and ham

With our parents, friends, and even gram.

We cook lots for this big day,

But then so much gets thrown away.

Many people have to starve and die,

While we just go and throw out half a pie.
