Watch

You yell and I scream,

We fight and they see my crumbling self esteem.

I turn my head to avoid your hands,

They all know your true plans.

My body flinches waiting for impact,

And soon, your hands are no longer intact.

Everything happens so fast,

As the future is my past.

Later that night,

We have another fight.

Then you pour your scotch,

And all I can do is watch.
