Watch Out , I’m About To Glow
oh no is that a pimple
what happened to my cute dimples
my clear skin seems to be gone
i remember when it was all so simple
i’m changing i’m changing for better or worse
im changing im changing it’s starting to hurt
as my voice deepens and my height increases it seems everything has changed
seems the only thing that remained the same is my mother and my name
freaking out over what to do
do i shave it now
will my voice ever stop cracking
as i go and take a bow
i feel as if something is lacking
im in this scary dark cave called puberty
is that a light i see
shiny teeth clear skin that’s all i see
my voice is becoming stronger how can this be
just a month ago it was cracking when i said the word we
are those muscles building fast
my hair is growing in a flash
as i think of all the bad things puberty had to offer i felt sad and like burnt toast
now i’m more attractive and i don’t mean to brag or boast
but thank god thank god that i finally glowed
