Watching, Waiting

You don't see me
standing there -
watching
waiting.

Even with the Moon's
full glare-
longing
hoping.

I whisper your Name
to the quiet night -
watching
waiting.

Yet you don't see my
silent fight -
longing
hoping.

I feel as if I'm
falling apart -
watching
waiting.

But you just walk
right out of my heart-
longing
weeping.
