The Water

The sun sets turning the water from blue to gold

As the moon rises the water grows cold

I wish to go for a swim

Quickly the light grows dim

Daredevils jump from thecliff side

There are so many mysteries that the water will hide

The lake has heard many stories

Today I stand in its etheral glory

On the sand the waves will crash

Into the water I jump in a dash

Here it is easy to have fun

I mourn whenever our time here is done
