Water

I felt it stir deep in my chest Ribbons of want, a knot in my breast A face, not a name ingrained in my brain Wicked green eyes changing the game Making it clear, I would never be the same Like a drop of ink in water Spreading out, wreaking blue havoc till what was in the glass before doesn't really matter Consumed by the dark liquid, rewriting my reality I voiced no complaint, but ran to him happily It was only after he left, while I layed on the floor, out of my mind That I realized No one wants a cup of dirty water Especially not one somebody else has left behind
