Water Droplets

The wet, gray chaos of rain falls

down around me soaking in deep

to my core. I feel nothing at all.

Memories are all I can keep

playing in my dark mind, over

and over- it’s what I owe her.

My reflection is in the drops

of crystals shimmering around.

My face scares me but I can’t stop

searching for things that can’t be found.

So I sit and soak it all in,

water droplets stuck on my skin.
