A Water Painted Sky

A water painted sky,

tall whispering trees,

crisp mountain air,

the buzz of a bee.

Nature truly inspires me.

In front of a campfire,

alone in the night,

I can see to the edge of the fires glow,

what lies beyond is out of sight.

My imagination turns

wondering whats in the night.

A pale thinned face that hides in the night,

a mythical creature who stays out of sight

And animals big and small,

appear in my head from the dark unknown.

An ocean front

and accompanying breeze.

make me wonder what lies beneath the sea.

A permanent picture engraved in my head,

sends my mind spinning from the beauty I see.

An entire world hidden by water

what lurks below that stays unkown?

could it have answers to questions we yearn to know.

The mental escape

that nature brings

fills ones head with glory and praise.

Beautifuly it stays the same

consistantly perfect

if untamed.

The power to unlock even the worst writers block

or to relax a tense body wound down by a clock

it can send ones mind racing, or put it at ease.
