watercolor

my friend

your canvasses exhibit that

you are my water

refreshing, tranquil, unbounded

with confident flicks of your brush

and a humble blush

my friend

you are my color

yellow, blue and green

you showed me happiness

your lips spoke harshly like bright hues

yet gentle words of wisdom

to make a diluted blue

you have cleared my vision

and now our time has come

to overcome
