Waterfall
Blood is like a river
Flowing through your veins
Meant not to be disturbed
Till a simple slice that broke the skin
Makes it rush like a waterfall
Cold hearts and empty souls
Those are the only ones who know
The joy and sorrow
Of suffer and pain
Of putting a blade
Into your vein
Your blood it runs and falls like rain
Images of death flash into your brain
Feelings of love and hate become one
You feel like your life is already done
The pain you have inside you burns
The emotional ride that you’re on turns
The end is near
So face your fear
But you don’t care
The pain is too much to bear
Life was like an oozing sore
But the pain is gone forever more
You wasted the river needed for life
By simply picking up a knife
Now the only waterfalls in the race
Are the tears running down your best friends face
For blood is like a river
Flowing through your veins
Meant not to be disturbed
Till a simple slice that broke the skin
Made it rush like a waterfall
