Waterfall

I sat watching water’s grand cascade As thoughts flow through a falling parade Pause, Think How far had water come to fall, pool? Sigh, Drink Do life’s pain make heart crawl, cruel? But I consider the beauty of water white And crystal plunge of purest sight Then, Consider The sharp, hardened path of rushing, rivers This, Reminder Changes rough, murky curves pushing, givers Yet the misty evening warms burdened heart While softly retelling reality’s treasured part Great, Cost The long trudge of painfully living, life Now, Lost For release helps cleanse the hurting, strife Waterfall much like a precious friend Comforting and clean in the present end Flawed? Yes But powerfully pure strengthened from above Me? Blessed To view this display of cascading love
