Waterfalls and Ponds
I want to flow the way a waterfall flows.
Without regret.
Without fear.
With such intensity that there is no such thing as stopping.
Surrounded by the beauty of the jungle,
but not without being heard.
Roaring with confidence and energy.
But here I sit.
A pond.
A pond out in the open and vulnerable to my surroundings.
Allowing pebbles to create waves in my water.
Sitting still, quiet,
Scared to make my presence known.
Waiting for something to push me over the edge.
