Waterless Wasteland

Sunlight kissed the barren land

Parched and sandy, with bones of man

A prickled plant with roots ingrain

Deep within the dead terrain

Struggles to strive in the place

That death had claimed and still await

To find a victim and infuriate

To turn into a bag of skin

To die alone without a kin

No place here, doesn’t the sun shine

Here in the desert,

You lose track of time

And wither away,

Into the dust

Of the land

To become

Blend in

With

The

Sand
