The Waters Below

I  am worn down and I am restless

Keep looking to the sky

Cause I’m forgetting where my faith is

This should be easy. This should feel more right.

But I can’t give my pain to you,

I guess I’d rather fight.

Cause I’ve been running through the forest

Of unforgiveness too long

And I’m ready to dive off this cliff

Into the waters below

I feel broken, and I’m still bleeding

Keep looking to the sky

'Cause I’m still trying to find my meaning

This should be easy. This should feel more right.

But I can’t give my pain to you,

I guess I’d rather fight.

In my garden I planted a seed.

A seed of trust covered with identity.

Yea in my garden I planted a seed.

A seed of trust covered with identity

Cause I’ve been running through the forest

Of unforgiveness too long

And I’m ready to dive off this cliff

Into the waters below

You say you love me. You say I’m free.

But I only feel free when you’re here with me.

Well I’ve been running through the forest

And the dark confines of my mind

But I’m ready to come out

And be who you need me to be.

I’ll let you love me.
