Wavers

I think there is an ocean inside of my head

And it wavers, slowly, reminding me,

It

Might

Leak

Someday

And I'm scared that it will, and all of this ocean will spill from my ears, my nose,

fall into my lap and I will feel the rush run cold on my fingertips.

I already know this will happen.

Because it has happened before.

Each time, I think, maybe this is the last time

this  ocean will spill.

But the ocean only swells.

She winks at me, her skeleton clinging upon the growing waves, telling me,

"It is only a matter of time."
