Waves

It comes crashing in pushing you back down into your bed again

Your mind becomes a war, the blur of happiness is just a dream

Putting on your smile and trying to dance it away

Knowing it will make you cave in.

Your laying on your bed barely breathing and tears start to stream

You are just another sad teen

But there is no dark makeup, no screamo.

It comes in a different form.

It is born in your mind and can take over you anytime

It is a cloud that hovers and there is nowhere to cover

Sadness is your other lover.
