Waves

I know the waves are coming for me

Waking up later and later

Resisting to get out of bed

Curtains closed

Don’t let that light in

Keep it dark

Think on my thoughts

Shower me with gloom

The doom of darkness

Seeping through me

My veins run hot

Blood pouring out

These thin slices

Remind me

The decisions once made

Waterfalls cascade

Rocks I fall unto

I break my back

The release of tension

Water flowing over me

No air to breathe

Thoughts washing over me

No light to see

I’m beaten and broken

These waves come for me.

Find beauty in your growth, each step you take is a pebble creating mountains. You will overpower all to acquire that you desire n require. Have blind faith in urself bcos you will succeed. ... The spaces in between . . . imperfections of growth reaching towards Zion continuing tradition creating habit flower blooming I am alive. 🌸
