Waves of Destruction

The roar of chaos circulates my mind Whirlpool of lust beginning to wind The sound of the ocean all around Finding yourself but no where to be found Lost in the pathway of your deepest fear Repetition of loss from ear to ear You jump the waves but sink right through I choose to survive for the many few The echo of sirens day to day The indestructible screaming emerging my way Neighborhood filled with hate that shouts my heart pounds through my skin to find its way out Statistics implicate we all don't survive Not for the money but the way of life Why is it the bad live a life in the sky? Signified by the stars shining in their eyes While the good is wiped out of innocent lives Contrary to this we stand here in lies Will the world ever define its true fate? Until that day comes we distinctively wait
