Waves of Dominion

In the same breath as a mellow “brah”

Zealous drops beneath his board succumb

Tapestries of electric atoms blanket their master

Muscled limbs mirror his inner command

A casual flip of his platinum mane sends a crowd reeling

His smirk a typhoon of broken hearts

He sails atop a palace of salty sea

His grace upon the painted surface unmatched

Gliding towards the shore he needs not

While others tumble into its raging dance

Cheers arise from the bustling California beach

A passerby wonders why thin, tanned teens swoon and vex,

For the victory of their beloved is inevitable

Challengers are engulfed eerily by the sea

The blue haven unquenched but by its ruler’s triumph

The mightiest flexes his arrogant brawn

Of course, Poseidon was never known to play fair in a surfing competition

With the ocean on his side

And his golden locks the town’s pride
