The Way

She rebels not because she wants to but because the world allows her to. Consumed by all the pain in her life she looks for her escape and she finds it within the booze. She sits and waits for the drink to give her the freedom but it only calms her into a state of numbness. She rebels not because she thinks it's fun but because she is welcomed into the kingdom of poison The Kingdom where she can choose to lead herself into the path of destruction or the path of success. She rebels because for once she knows what it is to be so restrained restricted with no way out The world allows her to rebel but she chooses to see the unseen and touch the untouched. You look at her heart and see pain and she looks at your eyes and sees answers Answers to questions her mind couldn't begin to ponder You look at her eyes and read them like a book But do you dare ask what the pain is or what she hides Don't ask and she won't tell ask her and she summarize and laugh Her weakness is within her strength and she builds her strength from the loses in life that made her weak. Have you ever seen a heart so broken or a soul so crushed? Open your eyes and begin to see the unseen she smiles because she knows things have to get better. You don't know her but she knows you and that is enough for you to find out whose the girls hiding behind the smile.
