The Way I Feel

No matter how I try 

I can't change the way I feel 

The love I have for you 

it is true and it is real 

I wish that I could find a way 

to make everything alright 

You alone can stop the tears 

that I cry in the night 

You brought joy into my life

you put love deep in my heart 

Now you are gone and the joy I felt 

is slowly falling apart 

I can think of nothing else 

for you are always on my mind 

You are the kind of woman 

I thought that I would never find 

So I will tell you once again 

that my love for you is real
