The Way Life Goes

Life is like a merry go round

Spinning out of your control

Down down down to the ground

My life is on a hold

Time flies out of reach

Worries gather my brain

Life is not a juicy peach

Instead it is a moving train

Is this just how life goes

Or did I get dealt an unfair hand

This is not the life I chose

This is not where I stand

As the world keeps spinning round

I learn that this is just the way it has to be

I will always be knocked to the ground

I will never be as strong as she
