The Way the Music Plays

My eardrums wait in silence

Aching for a moment of connection

Between a melody and a piece of plastic

Love me the way my ears love music

Love me the way they ring when the volume is turned up too high

Love me in a way I want to put a song on repeat

A classic

Hard Rock, Heavy Metal

Something with meaning

Something that soothes my soul

And touches far beneath my heart

Love me for me

No matter my tune

No matter if I'm off key

Or if I don't ryhmn

Love me for every note

And because I love you

I'll do the same

Through silence and deaficating loudness

Love is how the music plays

I've been through alot in my life, and I've dealt with it through art. When I have migraines, I busy myself with painting. When I feel sad, I redecorate. When I feel anxious, I focus all my attention on photography. This is me, and I hope you love it.
