A Way Out
Way back
Way way back
In the darkest of times
In the dark
In the night
Of my mind
In the screams
In the terror
I found a pen
And paper
Wrote down my feelings
About
School
Home
Worldly stuff
My tears made ink
My screams made words
Everything was clear
I showed my mom
I was proud
Again
She got
Other people
Involved
People named therepy
People named meds
And meditation
And suddenly
Smile
