The Way Things Look

Sometimes I throw fake smiles

And it's not to be mean

But i've been throwin them for a while,

You might as well call it a routine

I'm not proud of it but it just has to be this way

Because people just don’t understand

It always starts with that Monday

With my mood already planned,

If you can’t relate then, I feel it's a waste

A waste of my breath explaining and, your time

I might even call it a fear I face

Sometime I even feel cold as the wintertime,

All I’m saying is that, some things don’t seem that way they look

Even if those things were written down in a book.
