The way we used to

Slowly coming together and like feathers, we fall. Moving steady, steadily pacing, suddenly having withdraws. Viciously thinking powerful thoughts. Rigorously stuck in a blur. Can't figure out who we are now, or what we were. Then, as friends we'd stay out til the day ended, And when the night fell, We'd make plans to get back in it. We sucked the energy out of each other. Now we're zombies, Barely breathing, Not hungry enough, Eyes misleading. Lips only whisper secrets made up of silent moans. Moans only we understand. Hurt me soul. I want to be at peace with you. Warm winds and melodies with you. Pastel colored paints on the boards. Holding hands while walking In the sand with you.. The way we used to. 5.29.14
