A way with words

I write with curiosity and remembrance

My mind is always wandering and I tend to follow it

It gives me ideas and dreams of what could happen

I tend to find myself writing down the thought so I cannot lose it

Sometimes my mind wanders into the past

And I follow it still

Memories flow in and they can be overwhelming

With either happiness or sadness

I tend to find myself writing down how I feel

Or things that I never got to say

But sometimes

I just stare at the paper

Because words cannot always express how I feel

I have always searched for the perfect quote then I realized there was nothing stopping me from making my own.
