We all need to understand each other Understand we all sisters and brothers Cause all this shooting, banging, and jailing ain’t working out right Why is it that we are all living to fight? When all we should be doing is fighting to live right. Tell me you’re pain, I’ll hear your struggle Then I’ll tell you what’s my trouble I’ll let you know that I feel you And tell me that you do to I’ll tell you what it’s like to be brown And you tell me what’s it like to be black Cause at the end of the day, both our peoples are the ones most attacked There are yellow and white people who also suffer Trust, all we need to do is understand each other But instead we have a war on drugs, a war on religion, and a war on race Blackmailing each other just to get ahead of the race But you too blinded to see we are all in the same shitty ass place Freedom is a lie. Fools we are ALL slaves in disguise We need to unite and get out this motherfucker Instead, we all cheat and steal from one another Because we are all just the same dumb blinded suckers Who fail to take the time to truly understand one another
