We are all the Same

Location

Have you ever wondered,

What did any of them do to us,

Why so much hatred and headache

And why not put in all in the past where it belongs?

Have you ever thought about,

How much our country could succeed

If we forgot about our past issues

And just started over with no judgements or prejudices?

Have you ever pondered the thought,

That without all of this discrimination and chaos,

The United States might actually be a happy place to live,

And we could all get along like civilized human beings?

Have you ever realized that everyone is equal?

No matter the skin, accent, gender, sexual orientation,

We are all human beings with beating hearts, brains and feelings.

Which means that everyone has a right to be given a fair equal chance at life in whatever they wish to do.
