We (Are Colorfully Awesome)
I can see the dripping water colors of the sky in your eyes and I can trace their awesome power all the way back to your heart. Through your veins and into your brains these colors are who you are.
You are not black, white, or tan, you are the sky when the sun first rises over the ocean and the creamy iridescent colors look like heaven on a road map. You are the raging sky with clouds six feet thick that are weeping over their solitude in the world of perfection.
You are disbelieving in the fact that you are the one on a pedestal and others are merely admiring you, while you think their stares come from an inner judgment. You are the sky at dusk and at dawn, night and day, in my eyes and in the world's.
I see you and your colors leak into mine, for I am the earth that grounds your boundless stretching, encompassing me in a net of adoration. Like an ozone you protect me so that the only thing that can ruin me is myself. But as long as your colors are holding mine, we can ignore the prick points of needles who's colors clash with ours. Together we can paint a canvas of serenity, and never stop painting, for as long as we both shall live.
