We Are More

This land of ours

So grand and beautiful

With trees, mountains, and flowers.

Never to be called dull.

Yet, it is not perfect.

There's violence, cruelty, and hate.

Let me ask, is it worth it?

Is this truly our country's fate?

I will not concede.

We are more than this.

We must choose to lead.

We need to aim high, even if we miss.

Stop killing the old, young, and unborn.

Follow the word of God.

Stop letting families be torn.

Do not allow fraud.

Do all you can.

Make an impact while you are here.

I speak for every child, woman, and man.

Every one of us is dear.

And we will not fail!

We can be greater!

We are not frail!

Let's do our best until we meet our maker.
