We are the Romance Novel

Like  a romance novel

We are much alike.

Both troubled

And have many traumas

Brought us together

But everything 

Is tearing us apart

What if we are the story

That other people read.

We are the story

That they all think

It  really is make believe.

Nobody seems to think

That such bad things happen

To anyone, but specifically you

Shit

It could even happen to me

Like as romance novel

In the beginning,

Everything is perfect.

A force pulls us apart,

Shit happens in the middle,

Things that we all regret

Yet we are still meant to be.

They still root for us.

In the end, 

We forget

Everything

 we wish we never said.

In the end

Its is you and me

It always has been

But we just had to believe.

We find a way around 

All the obstacles 

That life throws.

After the storm blows over,

We can be free.
