We can be a legend

We don't need gods to turn into a star We have people who sing and play guitar We don't need to prayers To zeus for the storm to stray We have the national guards At home to stay We don't need miracles to save lives We have men who put themselves on the line We don't need oracle's to see the past We can plan our future We don't immortals to cure our disease We have doctors across the seas We don't need Athena to give us knowledge We study hard in college We became the star, the hero The cure the future The legend
