We Don't Know

At any moment in time our complex, difficult, and unpredictable lives could end.

And once it has ended, what happens then?

They say heaven and hell are out there for us once we’ve lived enough.

There’s the concept of reincarnation and being able to live again in a new life form.

But what if once we die, our bodies are never again able to go anywhere or do anything?

We don’t know what could exist.

Outer space exists beyond our diminutive, luminous, and nurturing planet.

And beyond space, what lies there?

They say space is never ending, it’s infinite and there is too much in it.

There’s the possibility of there being more to space than just planets, stars, and galaxies.

But what if there is an end to space and we could reach it if we had more time and effort?

We don’t know what could exist.

The amusing, complex, and intriguing universe will always be a mystery.

And its creation, how did it come into existence?

They say that God created heaven and earth, light and darkness, humans and animals.

There’s the idea that there is one Creator who just existed and began making everything.

But what if that idea is just something we can hold on to because we know nothing else?

We don’t know what could exist.

We don’t know.

And we don’t know whether we ever will know.
