We Found Love in the City

Remember those nights.

Fire escapes and city lights.

Unmade beds and endless talks.

Counting the stars and throwing rocks.

Running around busy streets.

Wind in our hair and shoes on our feet.

Our hands intertwined, I look at you.

I hope we last, I really do.

We're making new memories.

Within our hearts we keep.

Where everything is wild.

In the city that never sleeps.

My only hope is for

Our journey to continue.

In this beautiful city where,

My love is within you.
