As We Grow
The world was young but so was I, the time has flashed before my very eye. I was young i was happy playing outside, now im a Sophomore in high school and my grandpa just died. As a child you close out the world from your room, not worrying about a job or the college you will attend soon. Mom picks out your clothes for the next day of class, laughing and giggling not scared you just might pass. Slowly you grow to the middle school days, it gets a little bit harder with no more stright A's. The teachers don't help and the classes aren'[t fun, now you realize the adult path has begun. You graduate to high school and now it gets real, the college is close and the classes are here. Every little slip could kill the GPA which desides in the adult world if you live another day. I look back at fifth grade remembering so clearly, high school is not fun i miss it so dearly. One day we will grow old and all be grown-ups remembering elementary and what it's shown us. from a baby new born to a grandma in age they will all see the world and grow to old age. I might be 16 but my life has just begun. One day i will be in college wondering where time went, my parents will be old, their experience rich. I hope to have a job that provides a good house, to have a few kids and a beautiful spouse. As i grow up i learn that the world gets colder, but i gain more wisdom as i get older.
